Cyber Smart

Today Matua Jacob came to my class to help us learn about being Cyber Smart.  Here is a video I made of what we were learning about.

Matariki T- Shaped Literacy

I worked with Bailey, Bella, Nerali and Max. We made a movie about Matariki. Here is our Movie.

For our Matariki T-Shaped Literacy we have been learning about Matariki and language features.  We also got to retell a Matariki story.  Here is my work.  

It was easy to say my lines because it was in front of me

It was hard to act the puppets.

I liked making the movie because we did lots of easy fun things

Movie (Hut making)

On outdoor classroom day we went out the back to make movies about hut making.  

We learned about taking different video shots like Establishing shots.

It was easy to recording small bits.

It was hard to put it all together on the movie and edit it..

I liked it because it was fun to work with my friends.

 

Digital Artwork.

This term we have been learning some new techniques for creating digital art pieces. Here is my artwork from this term. 

I like my pop art because it popped out very well.

I like my kiwi texture because it had cool texture.

I learnt how to use textures and to use bright colours better.

Hut Movie Making

In Team Awa we had an outdoor day. We got to go outside and make huts around the back. We were learning about how movie making is like writing a story and that we needed to take different types of movie shots. Here is some examples of what I learned.
